The difference between CarbMax and standard intra-workout carbohydrate products is simple: Palatinose® has a Glycaemic Index of just 32 — compared to 65+ for maltodextrin and 70+ for dextrose. It is absorbed slowly and uniformly throughout the small intestine, delivering a prolonged, stable release of energy into the bloodstream without the blood sugar spikes, insulin surges and mid-session energy crashes associated with high-GI carbohydrates. One important note: Palatinose® (Isomaltulose) is classified as a sugar under standard food labelling regulations — which is why CarbMax shows 25g of sugars on the nutrition panel. How To Use

Mix 1 scoop (30g) with 500–700ml of cold water and consume during training.
1 scoop: moderate-intensity sessions or lower carbohydrate targets.
2 scoops: high-volume or high-intensity sessions lasting 60–90 minutes.
3 scoops: endurance athletes, prolonged sessions or higher daily carbohydrate targets.
